At 0:00 on June 10 (Vietnam time), Apple's WWDC 2025 Developer Conference officially took place, held at Apple Park campus (USA).
To kick things off, Apple announced a comprehensive interface overhaul for all of its major software platforms, called Liquid Glass - a unified design language for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS and CarPlay.
Liquid Glass is inspired by visionOS virtual reality glasses, creating a feeling of transparent glass, with depth and flexible changes according to user operations. The rounded corners are consistent across the system, matching the curved screen design of the device.
The app icon has been completely redesigned, using multiple layers of “liquid glass” effects to create a modern, floating feel. In addition to the familiar light and dark modes, users will have a completely new transparent interface.
Apple shared that apps like Camera, Photos, Safari, Phone and FaceTime are also refreshed in the Liquid Glass style. The Lock Screen can now display a clock that changes size flexibly depending on the space, support 3D photos and display full-screen animated albums.
Apple claims that Liquid Glass is not just an upgrade, but the main design foundation for its devices for years to come.

At WWDC 2025, Apple announced that iOS 26 will be compatible with the iPhone 11 series and later. According to Apple, the first developer beta of iOS 26 will be released starting today, with a public beta coming next month and a final release scheduled for September.
Apple also announced a series of new features that will appear in the Messages app on iOS 26.
Specifically, users can customize the background for each conversation, or create polls right in the chat group. This is a step forward to help the conversation become more personalized and interactive.

Users will be able to filter messages from unknown senders, which will be placed in a separate folder.
Additionally, they can mark the number as known, request more information, or delete it. These messages will be completely muted until the user actively accepts.
In group chats, iOS 26 supports displaying typing status from members, and also allows sending and receiving money via Apple Cash, making sharing expenses in groups more convenient.
A special highlight is the Live Translation feature integrated right into the messaging application.
The feature, powered by Apple Intelligence, is capable of translating text and audio in real-time, making it easy for users to communicate across languages without leaving the conversation.
At the conference, Apple also introduced watchOS 26 with a new Liquid Glass interface and the Workout Buddy feature to support working out with friends. This operating system is compatible with Apple Watch Series 6 and later, SE 2 and the entire Ultra line, when combined with iPhone 11 and later running iOS 26; personalized Siri features are not yet ready...
