During an administrative inspection at 2 a.m. on May 28, police discovered 13 men and 4 women (aged 16-34) using drugs in a rented apartment.

At around 2:00 a.m. on May 28, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Province Police coordinated with functional units to administratively inspect an apartment without a number on Road No. 2, Tay Song Hau residential area, My Tho hamlet, My Quy ward, Long Xuyen city and discovered 13 male and 4 female teenagers using drugs.

At the scene, police seized 2 ceramic plates containing white powder, 2 plastic bags containing 4 blue tablets and 4 other bags containing white crystals, along with many audio devices and LED lights used for drug use, which drug users call "flying and shaking".

Through a quick test on the spot, 14/17 subjects tested positive for drugs. It is known that the above apartment is rented by Phan Thi My Linh (17 years old, living in Long Xuyen City). Currently, the police force is continuing to investigate, verify, clarify and handle the case according to the provisions of the law.

Recently, to avoid detection by authorities, drug users no longer choose bars, karaoke bars, restaurants, and dance clubs, but instead rent hotel rooms or apartments.
