The process of arranging and restructuring the inspection agencies of the provincial inspectorate has inheritance and innovation, ensuring continuity and uninterrupted inspection work, receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations and preventing corruption, waste and negativity; thoroughly overcoming shortcomings, limitations, overlaps and duplications in the organization and operation of inspection and examination.
Accordingly, from July 1, 2025, the Provincial Inspectorate will be reorganized into 9 department-level units, with an initial staff of 120 civil servants. The unit has received and arranged jobs for 71 district and department inspectors transferred to the unit and fully arranged the necessary conditions to ensure the activities of the Inspectorate. Immediately after the apparatus was consolidated and reorganized, the Provincial Inspectorate issued regulations on the functions, tasks and powers of the affiliated specialized departments. On that basis, the specialized departments, staff and civil servants of the unit have closely followed the regulations to carry out their tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department in charge of the Department III, Provincial Inspectorate, informed: Currently, the department has 9 civil servants, including 4 civil servants transferred from other units. The department is responsible for assisting the Provincial Inspectorate in performing state management of inspection work; performing inspection tasks, receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity according to the assigned areas and fields. Based on functions and tasks, we have assigned specific tasks to the staff, immediately catching up with the work to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
At the same time, the Provincial Inspectorate continues to maintain the effectiveness of professional activities within its authority; effectively implement the Law on Inspection 2025 and decrees guiding the implementation of the law. Since the beginning of the year, the Inspectorate has conducted 121 inspections and examinations; through the inspection conclusions, it has recommended the recovery of more than 1.5 billion VND to the state budget; recommended other economic handling of more than 1.3 billion VND; recommended the review and review of the responsibilities of 51 collectives and 125 individuals.
In addition, the Provincial Inspectorate has advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and heads of agencies at the same level to effectively perform the State management of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement. Since the beginning of the year, administrative agencies in the province have received 1,150 citizens, with 1,034 cases. 2,172 petitions have been received and processed, of which 397 petitions were not eligible for processing and were kept, 637 petitions were instructed and transferred to competent agencies for settlement, and 1,138 petitions were within their jurisdiction. The results of settlement of complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections within their jurisdiction reached over 89%, the remaining cases are being continued to be resolved within the prescribed time limit.
To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work, the Provincial Inspectorate continues to effectively implement the functions and tasks of the sector, especially the implementation of inspection tasks in the implementation of two-level government. Improve the quality of the Provincial Inspectorate's civil servants, organize training and professional development for relevant cadres and civil servants at the People's Committees at the commune level who directly receive citizens, handle petitions, resolve complaints and denunciations, prevent and combat corruption, waste and negativity.
