Binh Phu commune strives to achieve advanced new rural commune standards by 2030

Binh Phu Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging 3 Party Committees: Tay Phu Commune Party Committee, Binh Tuong Commune Party Committee and Vinh An Commune Party Committee.

During the past term, the work of Party building and rectification was focused on; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members were enhanced. The political system was consolidated, improved, and operated effectively; the people's trust in the leadership of Party committees and authorities was consolidated and enhanced; the great national unity bloc was firmly built.

The economy has developed quite well; infrastructure for transportation, irrigation, schools, medical stations, and cultural institutions has been invested in and built relatively synchronously. The cultural and social fields have made much progress; the quality of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has been improved; the results of universal education and the construction of schools meeting national standards have been maintained; social policies have been implemented promptly. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, and in some aspects has been enhanced. National defense, security, and social order and safety have been maintained and stabilized.

In the period of 2025-2030, Binh Phu commune strives to achieve a total product value growth rate of 10%. Of which: agriculture - forestry - fishery increases by 3.2%; industry - construction increases by 13.2%; trade - services - tourism increases by 12.6%. By 2030, the commune strives to achieve an average total product value per hectare of cultivated land of 130 million VND/year. Budget revenue generated in the area (domestic revenue) reaches 61.9 billion VND. Total retail revenue of goods and services reaches 2,353 billion VND. The rate of disbursement of public investment capital compared to the plan assigned by the province reaches 100%. By 2030, attract 5 new projects. The commune strives to achieve advanced new rural standards by 2030.

Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Phong Vu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Phu commune in the past term.

To successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the coming term, comrade Nguyen Thi Phong Vu suggested that the Party Committee of the commune should strengthen the work of building the Party and the political system. In addition, it is necessary to focus on implementing 4 breakthrough resolutions, the "Quad Pillars" to bring the country into a new era: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.

At the same time, promote economic development, pay attention to effectively exploiting the potentials and strengths of the commune. Especially focus on developing infrastructure, converting crop and livestock structures to suit the climate and soil; mobilize all social resources to invest in building new advanced rural areas. Comprehensively develop cultural and social fields; continue to preserve, conserve and promote the value of historical relics and traditional cultural values. The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions of the Binh Phu Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee consists of 23 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Van Thu was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
