Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: After the merger, Dak Lak province is the third largest locality in the country with diverse potential and advantages for economic development. Specifically, in the east of the province, there are advantages to attract investment in the fields of energy, metallurgy and petrochemicals. Here, Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone also has potential and advantages to become a free trade zone with a deep-water port and a convenient road traffic system. Dak Lak is also one of the leading localities in the country in terms of potential for wind and solar power development. In the west, Dak Lak has the ability to develop a variety of crops, including many crops with high economic value. In particular, Dak Lak is the capital of Robusta coffee in the world, along with other prominent crops such as pepper, durian, and cocoa. In the coming time, Dak Lak province will continue to do well in provincial planning, thereby creating favorable conditions to attract investment and effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the locality.
