The admission score in the 2025 comprehensive admission method of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is the total score of 3 components: academic score, bonus points and priority points.

Academic scores have their own calculation formula for 8 admission candidates.

Priority points are determined based on priority subjects and areas.

Bonus points are calculated from personal achievements, social activities, literature, sports and arts with a maximum of 10 points on a scale of 100.

In the 2025 regular university entrance exam of the University of Technology, nearly 48% of candidates achieved a capacity assessment score of 900 points or more. In addition, about 3,300 candidates with standard English certificates (equivalent to IELTS Academic from 5.0 or higher) will be converted into 8 - 10 English points in both high school graduation exam scores and high school study scores.
