Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia works with the Border Guard Command of Gia Lai province

(GLO)- During a working trip to Gia Lai, on the afternoon of August 11, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and worked with the Provincial Border Guard Command.

On the side of Gia Lai province, there were comrades: Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

According to information at the meeting, after more than 1 month of merging, reorganizing the apparatus and implementing key tasks since the beginning of the year, the units and the Provincial Border Guard Command have seriously and closely implemented the tasks. Despite difficulties, in general, the apparatus has been operating stably and orderly. Military , defense, border, security and foreign affairs tasks have been continuously maintained.

After the merger, the units quickly stabilized their organizations, consolidated the national defense posture, people's security posture and the national border posture at both the land border and the sea and island areas of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia praised and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Border Guard Command, especially after more than 1 month of implementing the organizational streamlining revolution.

Faced with the increasingly complex and unpredictable world and regional situation; climate change; plant and animal diseases... as well as many other issues, the task of protecting the Fatherland, maintaining border security and social order and safety of the whole country in general and Gia Lai in particular is becoming more and more difficult.

Therefore, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission requested the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Steering Committee.

Affirming that the unit's responsibility is even heavier after the merger and streamlining of the apparatus because the province now has both land and sea borders, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission requested the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue promoting the tradition of the armed forces, upholding the spirit of determination to complete the noble political tasks assigned by the Party and State.

Along with that, improve the effectiveness of border diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.

In particular, continue to focus on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern force; promote the core and specialized role in managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security; maintain political security stability and social order and safety in the new situation.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation personally presented souvenirs to the Provincial Border Guard Command.

Previously, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to Ms. Ro Cham H'Yeo - former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Here, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Ms. Ro Cham H'Yeo as well as her family in the struggle for national liberation and development. At the same time, he hoped that she would continue to promote the spirit of patriotism and revolutionary tradition to propagate and mobilize people to believe in the leadership of the Party and State, especially the current reform of the apparatus. Along with that, continue to "pass on the fire" for children and grandchildren to study, work, and contribute their intelligence to build their homeland Gia Lai in particular and the country in general to develop more and more.
