The “National Achievement Exhibition” was held with great success, not only demonstrating the strong appeal of a national event but also demonstrating the sentiment, pride and deep concern of all classes of people for the country's development journey.
The “National Achievements Exhibition” with the theme “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” attracted special attention from the people before it opened.
Therefore, right after the opening, the Exhibition created an unprecedented phenomenon: a long, bustling stream of people from early morning at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ).
After 19 days of opening, the Exhibition has become an unexpectedly successful event.
The exhibition has the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths.
This is not only a place to introduce achievements but also a special cultural space, where the past, present and future blend together, fostering love for the Fatherland in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
This attraction comes from many factors, notably the grand scale and diversity of the exhibition areas.
Along with that, the success of the Exhibition must be attributed to the breakthrough in display art and application of modern technology.
In a space of tens of thousands of square meters, visitors have the opportunity to go through a vivid "time journey", from historical milestones of national construction and defense, wars of independence, to achievements of innovation, international integration and aspirations for prosperous and happy development.
The special highlight of the exhibition is the thematic areas, recreating typical stories of each industry and region.
LED projection technology, virtual reality (VR), and digital interaction are strongly applied, helping viewers not only observe but also experience directly.
Many visitors shared that they clearly felt the country's great progress, from modern infrastructure, scientific and technological achievements, to traditional cultural values that are preserved and promoted.
One of the technological symbols of the Exhibition is the Historical Road, the Cultural Road, the Giant Ball of Light.
Among them, the giant ball of light, a technological work appearing for the first time in Vietnam.
With a height of 12m and a diameter of 15m, the sphere is not only an architectural highlight but also a unique interactive space.
Inside the sphere is a 360-degree Dome space using advanced 3D mapping technology, taking the audience on a journey from the legend of Lac Long Quan - Au Co to the image of a modern, integrated and aspirational Vietnam.
Besides, the exhibition booths of ministries, branches and localities also attracted a large number of visitors.
Each region brings a separate picture, but when placed side by side, they create a panoramic view of the country's remarkable development in all fields: economy, culture, education, health, science - technology, agriculture, environment...
The National Achievements Exhibition has become a special meeting place where generations come together to review history and foster patriotism.
In the bustling crowd, you can see old people, veterans, or even children and young people admiring and feeling together.
Ms. Chu Thi Thom (80 years old), a resident from My Duc district (Hanoi) came to the Exhibition this afternoon to visit before closing time.
Mrs. Thom could not hide her emotion: “I did not expect my country to be so modern. In the past, in the countryside, we only wished for enough food and clothing. Now seeing children being able to study, living in peace, and seeing modern things like this, I feel very happy. This exhibition shows me that the sacrifices of previous generations were not in vain.”
Meanwhile, the younger generation finds in the exhibition vivid history lessons, no longer dry words in books.
A student from Tran Nguyen Han High School (Hai Phong) who accompanied a group of students from the school to visit the Exhibition shared: "I used to learn history through books, but coming here, witnessing the images, artifacts and especially experiencing virtual reality technology, I felt that dry knowledge suddenly became alive. The exhibition helped us understand more clearly the responsibility of youth towards the future of the country."
Another group of students from Dung Tien Secondary School (Hanoi) were more excited about the interactive areas.
Nguyen Duc Khanh, a 6th grader at Dung Tien Secondary School, representing the group, said he liked the giant light ball and the simulated shooting area and other technology experience areas at the Exhibition the most.
"I came here to learn about history, but these modern technologies have helped me see that history is not boring but very interesting," said Nguyen Duc Khanh.
This afternoon, people from all over the provinces were moved and proud when talking about the memorable experiences at the Exhibition.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (42 years old, from Tuyen Quang) could not hide her emotions when looking back at the images and artifacts displayed at the Exhibition. She said that the Exhibition can be considered a model of display and exhibition. This is a very effective, lively and attractive way of educating about history and national defense.
With its strong appeal, the “National Achievements Exhibition” has succeeded in conveying a strong message: The country's achievements today are the crystallization of the spirit of solidarity and indomitable will of the entire nation.
It is a reminder that today's generation needs to continue to strive and contribute to writing glorious pages of history, bringing Vietnam forward.
The exhibition has demonstrated that Vietnam not only has a glorious past but also a promising future.
The achievements in economy, culture, education... displayed are the clearest proof of that.
Every citizen realizes his or her responsibility to inherit and promote the achievements of his or her ancestors, turning individual aspirations into collective strength to take the country far in the new era - the era of national growth.
