Deploying a peak period of food safety inspections during the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival

ĐNO - From now until October 8, the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City will coordinate with agencies, units, and local authorities to launch a peak period of inspection of food production and trading establishments for the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival. In particular, focusing on inspections of establishments producing and trading moon cakes and other products consumed a lot during this occasion.

For the city route, the City Food Safety Management Board presides over and coordinates with the police force, market management and relevant units to closely inspect and monitor production and business establishments; prevent and combat smuggling, counterfeit goods and commercial fraud. Coordinate with local authorities to inspect grocery stores and moon cake stalls on the routes.

At the commune and ward levels, local People's Committees established interdisciplinary inspection teams to monitor food production and trading activities in the area.

Focus on inspecting establishments that process and trade in high-demand products during the Mid-Autumn Festival such as cakes, jams, candies, beer, wine, soft drinks, etc., especially establishments in traditional craft villages or establishments showing signs of violating food safety regulations.

Along with inspections, functional agencies and local authorities promote propaganda and education on food safety knowledge to production facilities and consumers; require compliance with conditions on facilities, equipment, origin of raw materials, use of additives, flavorings, packaging in accordance with regulations...
