Donated 200 million VND to support 20 pediatric cancer patients in Quang Tri province

QTO - On August 23, the Quang Tri Province Association for the Support of Poor Patients in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Poor Patients organized a program to provide funding to support the treatment of pediatric cancer patients in the province.

At the program, 20 pediatric cancer patients being treated at medical facilities in and outside the province received support, each case received 10 million VND, with a total budget of 200 million VND. The support fund was mobilized from the 21st Suntory Pepsico Vietnam Friendship Golf Tournament, through the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Poor Patients. The donation was made to the right recipients, publicly and transparently.

This is a practical activity, contributing to sharing difficulties with families whose children have serious illnesses, while spreading the spirit of humanity and community responsibility in social security work. Thereby affirming the role of social organizations in caring for the disadvantaged, adding faith and hope for children to firmly overcome illness.
