Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh, General Director of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and representative of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

On the morning of September 6, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Anh, General Director of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, Vice President of Vietnam Seaport Association, said that in a series of events to welcome the 10th Congress of Vietnam Seaport Association, the association and Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company organized to give gifts to students and people in difficult circumstances in Cat Hai special economic zone.

People in difficult circumstances and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin received gifts worth 2 million VND.

At the program, Vietnam Seaport Association and Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company presented 100 million VND to disadvantaged students and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin...

In particular, poor students and orphans are supported with 500,000 VND/month for 1 year, equivalent to 6 million VND/child. At the same time, gifts worth 2 million VND/gift are given to people in difficult circumstances and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.

The social security gift demonstrates the social responsibility of the port business community; at the same time, it is the attachment and companionship of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company with the government and people of Cat Hai special zone, where the enterprise is implementing the international container port project No. 3 and No. 4 in Lach Huyen.

Container Terminals No. 3 and No. 4 in Lach Huyen, invested by Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, were inaugurated on May 13, 2025. The port has a total length of two berths of 750 m, a negative depth of 16 m, capable of receiving 165,000 DWT (14,000 TEUs) ships and 200,000 DWT offloaded ships, along with a 250 m barge berth to receive 3,000 DWT (160 TEUs) ships, and an advanced loading and unloading equipment system. The project has a total investment of nearly 7,000 billion VND.
