Announcer Hong Hue.

- How do you feel about being part of the A80 Presentation Team - an important event of the country?

Being able to participate in the commentary for the A80 parade is the greatest honor in my career as a broadcaster. When my voice resounds across the country, spreading the faith and pride of the nation, I feel that is the most complete happiness.

For me, each time I read is not only a job but also a pride to contribute to building the image of a strong and prosperous Vietnam. The voice reading in the parade is not only an introduction but also the voice of spirit and national pride. I am happy to have contributed to spreading that.

- To have a perfect presentation on September 2nd, what did you have to overcome?

I was added to the list quite late while many colleagues had been practicing for months. The time was tight, the training intensity was high, but fortunately my reading voice had been trained persistently over more than 25 years of being in the profession.

During those days, we put aside all personal matters and focused on our mission. Every day at 3pm, I was at Ba Dinh Square to test the sound, and only finished late at night. Before each practice session, the whole group spent 30 minutes practicing breathing, practicing voice, practicing solo, practicing in pairs, and then practicing together. The voice reading in the parade had to be clear, resonant, and hearty; just a little off-beat would ruin the atmosphere. It was that seriousness that helped us have a complete explanation during the ceremony.

The happiest thing is that during the training days, I received a lot of encouragement from colleagues, friends, and relatives. They not only reminded me to take care of my health but also followed my training sessions and gave me sincere advice so that I could have the best energy on the big day.

For announcer Hong Hue, each time she reads is not just a job, but a pride in contributing to building the image of a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

- You used to be a TV announcer, known to the whole country, but then you chose to switch to radio, a rather quiet job, listeners only hear your voice but don't remember your face, is there ever a time you regret this decision?

Once a television announcer, in 2002 VOV recruited announcers nationwide, with thousands of applications, I was lucky to pass many rigorous rounds of competition to become one of the few chosen.

That decision was both a choice and a sacrifice for me. But I have never regretted it because broadcasting is the art of the voice, where I found myself. I still remember the feeling when I first heard the voices of my predecessors such as Meritorious Artist Kim Cuc, Viet Hung, Ha Phuong, Hoang Yen… resound. They were not only idols but also a compass that helped me persevere in my practice to both maintain standards and create my own mark.

- After more than 25 years in the profession, how do you look back on your journey?

It was a journey of great effort and luck. I have worked in many fields, from political news to Late Night Reading, Poetry Voice . For me, a newscaster must not only read but also feel. If I am not moved, it will be difficult for the listeners to reach the depths of their emotions.

My contributions have been recognized with many awards, including the Golden Voice of the 2022 National Radio Festival , the title of Excellent Announcer of VOV, and many national award-winning journalistic works. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of VOV, I was also honored to be chosen as the AI voice for the exhibition of national achievements, helping the public, especially the young, approach history in a new way.
