According to Football Insider , Anderson is currently valued at no less than £70 million if he leaves Nottingham Forest. However, sources from the Inside Track Podcast revealed that the player is happy with life at the City Ground and has no intention of leaving.
Anderson is also in the long-term plans of new coach Ange Postecoglou, who does not want to part with the team's brightest star.
The 22-year-old midfielder has become a hot commodity in the transfer market after an impressive performance for England in the recent international break. Anderson was voted Man of the Match in England's win over Andorra, before continuing his fine form in the 2026 World Cup qualifier win over Serbia.
This excellent performance helped Anderson receive much praise from experts, and at the same time caught the attention of many big clubs in the Premier League such as MU.
Anderson joined Nottingham Forest in 2024 for £35m and quickly became a mainstay in midfield. His long-term contract until 2029 gives the team full control over interest from big clubs.
Anderson's confirmation of his future at Nottingham Forest is good news for the City Ground team, and is also a heavy blow to MU's ambition to strengthen their midfield.
