Agricultural tourism associated with tea culture is receiving attention from many cooperatives.

After the merger, the whole commune has more than 615 hectares of tea, with 12 traditional craft villages, 31 cooperatives specializing in processing and trading tea and 22 OCOP products from 3 to 5 stars, of which about 30 hectares of tea have been granted growing area codes - an important condition to target the export market.

Ms. Dao Thanh Hao, Director of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, one of the typical tea units of Tan Cuong, said: The change in administrative boundary scale not only helps cooperatives expand raw material areas, but also creates favorable conditions for connecting with other tea regions, developing a collective economic model in a more modern and sustainable direction.

Not simply an agricultural product, tea trees in Tan Cuong today are also closely associated with the cultural life and customs of the people here.

Traditional craft villages and tea cultural tourism spots have created a unique cultural space. Some cooperatives have also built their own brands, participated in international fairs and linked with e-commerce channels to bring Tan Cuong tea further.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Tan Cuong commune, said: Developing experiential tourism not only helps increase the value of tea trees, but also creates more income for people, spreading Thai Nguyen tea culture further.

Besides growing, processing and producing tea products, a new promising direction being promoted by businesses and the Tan Cuong commune government is agricultural tourism associated with tea culture.

To develop Tan Cuong tea sustainably, in addition to the efforts of the people, cooperatives and businesses, the synchronous participation of local authorities and functional agencies is needed.

From tea area planning, infrastructure investment, processing technology support, trade promotion, vocational training, brand communication... all need to be implemented more strongly.

Along with that is the development of concentrated tea material areas associated with clean production standards (VietGAP, organic), building a production model according to the value chain, gradually applying digital technology to the management of growing areas and tracing the origin of products.
