Strengthening solutions to stabilize the rice market

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 160 on strengthening the implementation of tasks and solutions to promote production, export and stabilize the rice market.

The Prime Minister assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to organize the implementation of rice production planning, direct the supply of materials, seed structure, implement cultivation techniques, and improve rice quality to meet domestic market demand and for export.

At the same time, direct close monitoring of the activities of rice export traders, closely coordinate with ministries, branches, Vietnam Food Association and rice export traders to proactively remove difficulties and obstacles in rice export; promptly report and propose solutions to problems arising beyond authority.

Localities proactively grasp information, guidance documents, and recommendations from ministries and branches to organize propaganda activities, orient the market; support farmers in ensuring quality, tracing origin, and improving product competitiveness.
