According to data from The Box Office Vietnam, Red Rain continues to hold the top spot at the box office, earning 48 billion VND last weekend, bringing its total revenue to 650 billion VND after nearly 1 month of showing. The film has about 3,200 screenings per day, still completely overwhelming other competitors.

According to Box Office Mojo, Red Rain (international title : Red Rain) is currently ranked 67th in the top films with the highest box office revenue in the world in 2025.

For nearly a month, since August 20, the cast of Red Rain has participated in many promotional and interaction activities surrounding the film such as the premiere ceremony, cinetour, press interviews, audience meetings, etc. This companionship process helps them become more connected and closer to the public.

Many viewers said that the cast's closeness and comfort in interacting is the reason why they are so loved that they have their own "fandom", not inferior to singers.

Getting rich with ghosts surpasses 90 billion VND

The number 2 box office spot is The Conjuring 4: Last Rites, earning 23 billion VND after 3 days in theaters. The film has about 2,000 screenings per day.

This is an international horror blockbuster with a fairly good opening revenue at the Vietnamese box office recently. Previously, Dinh Loi (Together) was highly appreciated by critics but the film was not popular.

The Conjuring 4 takes audiences back to the 1980s, where exorcism duo Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) have slowed down in their work and are facing a lot of skepticism from the public. However, they still decide to take on one last case involving a haunted antique mirror.

They face an evil force that has terrorized the Smurl family for over a decade.

Coming in third at the box office is Get Rich with Ghosts 2: Diamond War, earning 8.3 billion VND last weekend, bringing total revenue to 91.3 billion VND after half a month of showing. The film still has about 1,000 screenings per day.

The plot revolves around the tragicomic journey of 5 people with different plans to bring the body of actress Anh Thu (Ngoc Xuan) back to her hometown; in return, her ghost promises to return them a diamond ring worth 9 billion VND.

Meanwhile, The Strawberry Contract has not attracted many audiences in theaters, with a modest opening revenue of 9.7 billion VND.

Initially, The Bride Contract was introduced as a film inspired by the famous novel of the same name, which attracted special attention from the original fan community. Audiences expected the film to follow the plot or at least retain the spirit and core elements of the novel.

However, when it was released, the film was met with much controversy. On social media, many people said that The Contract to Sell Strawberries broke the original work, and some netizens even commented that the only thing that remained completely intact was the novel's name.
