As Deputy Head of Nursing - Social Work Department, Thoi Binh District Medical Center, Ms. Vu Anh Hong is responsible for managing the Nursing Department under high pressure conditions with more than 150 inpatients per day and a team of 67 nurses, midwives and technicians. Ms. Hong is also a pioneer in applying information technology in management, participating in scientific research and has many innovative initiatives that have been recognized. Awards such as the title of Emulation Fighter of the Health Sector and 2 certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee are worthy proof of her persistent contributions.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Tan Phu commune, Thoi Binh district, a patient who regularly comes to Thoi Binh district Medical Center for medical examination and treatment, said: "I come here for medical examination and treatment regularly. As for Pharmacist Tran Hong Nhi, Deputy Head of Pharmacy Department and Secretary of the Youth Union of Tran Van Thoi General Hospital, she is always dedicated to her profession and active in Youth Union work. She proactively improves the working process, proposes many solutions, especially focuses on checking and monitoring prescriptions, contributing to limiting the abuse of antibiotics. Ms. Nhi is also a pioneer in building a database related to drug contraindications, helping doctors prescribe more accurately and safely. As a youth leader, she leads many volunteer activities, takes care of community health, and spreads the spirit of responsibility and creativity among union members and young people in the health sector.
Ms. Nhi shared: “I always care about improving the department's operating procedures, applying information technology in managing and monitoring drug prescriptions. Applying the drug interaction system, the ICD drug contraindication system, helps support doctors' prescriptions. As Secretary of the Youth Union, I always thoroughly educate the members about studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, practicing to improve professional qualifications, gradually doing a good job of taking care of people's health. In addition, I and the members actively organize social security activities, provide medical examinations, provide free medicine to the poor, and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances."
