This 4.5km long route is expected to relieve traffic pressure, connect more conveniently with main axes, and bring a new infrastructure appearance to the Northwest area of the city, which is highly anticipated by the people. Therefore, the fact that Ho Chi Minh City urgently concretizes the resolution just a few days after its issuance shows the great effort and determination of the city in improving the urban appearance.
Not only in large projects, that urgency is also shown in daily work, close to the people. On the occasion of the National Day September 2, while many people were enjoying the holiday, working groups in each neighborhood and hamlet in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general, were still busy checking the list and paying gifts to the people. The fact that officials worked through the holiday so that people could receive meaningful gifts at the right time is a clear demonstration of the spirit of "serving the people".
The spirit of “serving the people” is also applied in national projects. Project 06 on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation is also a typical example. This is a revolutionary project, changing administrative habits for decades, but in just a short time, it has crept into every corner of life.
Millions of people have become accustomed to using chip-embedded citizen identification cards for medical examination and treatment and carrying out administrative procedures online. This is the result of a strong direction from the Government and the synchronous and coordinated participation of ministries, branches and localities.
This transformation stems from a change in leadership and direction thinking and the need to improve policy response capacity. Instead of just waiting for detailed instructions, units have proactively reviewed and evaluated to implement immediately after the policy is approved.
To fulfill these requirements, the staff and civil servants must always be in a state of “readiness mode”. From the local police officers who go door to door day and night to electronically identify and guide people to complete online procedures, to ward and neighborhood officers who are on duty during the holidays to promptly deliver gifts to people. The staff is always ready to receive new instructions to advise on implementation solutions…
The drastic transformation of the apparatus and the team of cadres and civil servants has been creating practical values, helping to increasingly shorten the gap between policies and life, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and State, creating a strong driving force for the country's development in the new era.
