Quang Ngai is about to start a series of major infrastructure projects.

(QNgTV)- Quang Ngai province is focusing on speeding up the completion of investment preparation procedures and contractor selection to soon start construction of a series of large-scale infrastructure projects in the coming time.

Quang Ngai will start construction of the new Tra Khuc 1 bridge in December 2025.

Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has completed 3 projects, including: Phuoc Loc Bridge (Tra Khuc 3), Ben Dinh port breakwater (Ly Son special zone) and Lien Hiep I resettlement area (expansion).

Started construction of 4 new projects with a total investment of nearly 200 billion VND, including: Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road (section Km76-82); upgrading and expanding the Suoi Kinh drainage system, serving flood prevention in VSIP industrial park; two emergency anti-erosion embankment projects: An Phu and Sa Can estuary.

From now until the end of the year, the unit will accelerate investment preparation procedures, select contractors and start construction of 3 projects with a total investment of more than 2,600 billion VND, including: Tra Khuc 1 Bridge, upgrading and expanding the traffic infrastructure system in Dung Quat Economic Zone, repairing and expanding the irrigation canal of Tuyen Tung Reservoir. In addition, complete procedures to start construction of a series of new projects with a total investment of thousands of billions of VND in 2026.

In 2025, the total capital allocated to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is over VND 2,940 billion. To date, disbursement has reached nearly VND 700 billion, equivalent to nearly 23% of the plan.

In the coming time, the unit's disbursement figures will increase sharply when the works and projects in the construction plan are officially implemented.
