Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 3 have paid attention to leading, directing seriously, synchronously, closely and effectively implementing Directive No. 169 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, Resolution No. 120 of the Party Committee of Military Region 3; directing and guiding the conclusion of the area, making maps to search and collect martyrs' remains (phase 1) at 3 levels (commune, district, province), organizing the handover of products to the Office of the National Steering Committee 515, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by superiors. In addition, supporting the construction of 260 "Comrades' Houses" worth more than 18 billion VND, 275 "Great Solidarity Houses"; eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses in Military Region 3 with a total amount of more than 13 billion VND; 5 "Trade Union Warm Houses" worth 400 million VND; 9 "100 Dong Houses" worth 720 million VND; Carry out well the activities of "Repaying gratitude" in the unit and in the area, especially on holidays, Tet, July 27.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Nguyen Duc Hung commended the results achieved by the Military Region 3's armed forces in implementing Directive No. 169 and Resolution No. 120. The Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 3 requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels coordinate to promote propaganda and education on the Party and State's policies and guidelines, and the nation's moral tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source"; effectively implement the policy of socializing the care of people with revolutionary contributions and policy families; mobilize resources to support the construction of gratitude houses, comrade houses, social housing, and give savings books, seeds, capital, and production tools; direct and guide units to continue implementing the Project to search for, collect, and identify martyrs' remains.

On this occasion, the Military Region 3 Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 169 and Resolution No. 120, period 2021 - 2025.
