Primaklima eV supports Quang Tri to enhance biodiversity

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 1285/QD-UBND approving the project document "Enhancing biodiversity through coastal forest restoration: demonstrating biodiversity benefits" funded by Primaklima e. V. with a non-refundable aid of 48,100 EUR, equivalent to 1.35 billion VND.

The project “Enhancing biodiversity through coastal forest restoration: demonstrating biodiversity benefits” is being implemented in My Thuy commune, Quang Tri province. The implementation period is from the time the project is approved until August 31, 2027.

The objective of the project “Enhancing Biodiversity through Coastal Forest Restoration: Demonstrating Biodiversity Benefits” is to plant native tree species to restore degraded natural sand forests in the coastal areas of Central Vietnam, contributing to enhancing biodiversity.

Specifically, about 13,000 native sand trees will be planted in the sand area of ​​My Thuy commune, Quang Tri province; The project area will have improved coverage with larger green areas, contributing to creating a cool green environment, limiting erosion, sand drift and contributing to enhancing biodiversity; adapting to and mitigating climate change.
