At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, said that organizing charity text messages is a practical and effective way, suitable for the psychological characteristics and financial capacity of many classes and social groups in our country. The amount of money collected from the text message program not only reflects the sentiment and responsibility of the social community towards victims of Agent Orange, but also makes millions of Vietnamese people and international friends better understand the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam and the work to overcome the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam.
