Khanh Hoa PC trains on the topic "Cost management in construction investment projects"

Recently, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company (PC Khanh Hoa) organized a training course on "Cost management in construction investment projects" with nearly 50 company officers and employees attending.

Through the training program, participating officers and employees are equipped with knowledge about important legal bases in cost management, Construction Law, Bidding Law, decrees, circulars, and current standards and norms. The reporters also analyzed in depth the cost management process, including: Establishing and managing total investment; establishing and managing construction estimates; determining and managing bid package prices; managing construction contract prices; payment and settlement of projects and common problems. In particular, the program also analyzed risks and response solutions, in which legal, market, technical, progress and external risk groups were specifically analyzed. Practical solutions were also proposed, including thoroughly utilizing contingency costs, applying digital technology to monitor costs, progress, or close coordination mechanisms between stakeholders.

In the program, participants are divided into groups to discuss common real-life situations such as: Fluctuations in material prices, design changes, delays leading to increased management costs, etc., thereby helping trainees consolidate their knowledge and improve their ability to handle work flexibly. The training program contributes positively, providing PC Khanh Hoa 's staff and workers with a more comprehensive and realistic view of cost management in construction investment, contributing to improving the capacity to implement projects, ensuring progress and quality.
