Car crushed after collision on Hanoi - Hai Phong highway

On the morning of August 23, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway, injuring at least 2 people and deforming a car.

Witnesses at the scene said that at the time of the accident, they discovered a red car (license plate unknown) causing an accident at km78 (the area before the rest stop) of the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway.

"After the strong collision, one person was thrown out of the car and lay on the road, another person was still sitting in the driver's seat of the vehicle," said the witness.

At the scene, the car was completely deformed, with many pieces of debris scattered all over the road.

Upon receiving the news, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said that the unit had sent officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the accident. Initial determination was that at least 2 people were injured and the initial cause of the accident was determined to be self-inflicted.
