In particular, the Border Guard here has actively accompanied and "supported" thousands of fishermen to stay at sea to catch about 3,900 tons of seafood/year with a value of 170 billion VND.

Fisherman Nguyen Viet Linh - owner of ship HT 90313 TS (Trung Nghia village, Loc Ha commune) shared: "The border guards stationed in Cua Sot spared no effort and sweat to help us renovate our houses, tie up boats, overcome the consequences of natural disasters, build villages... They are truly the support for us to confidently go out to sea, protect fishing grounds and islands".

The companionship and support carried out regularly, continuously, responsibly and effectively have contributed to bringing 100% of border localities to meet the standards of new rural areas and civilized urban areas, 70% of border residential areas to meet model standards, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved.
