Specialist Doctor I Tran The Thang, Director of Operations of Hanoi - Dong Nai Eye Hospital, said that with its social responsibility, since the beginning of 2025, the hospital has chaired and coordinated many free medical examinations, given gifts, and supported cataract surgery costs for people in and outside the province. Through these surgeries, many patients in difficult circumstances, war invalids, sick soldiers, ethnic minorities, and even homeless people without health insurance cards have regained their sight.

Mr. Tran Thai Quoc Dung, residing in Bau Sen Ward, Long Khanh City, shared that he is old, in poor health, and lives alone without relatives. In recent years, his eyes have suffered from cataracts (dry cataracts), but due to difficult circumstances, he has no money for surgery. Hearing that the Hanoi - Dong Nai Eye Hospital supports eye surgery for the elderly, Mr. Dung was very happy. He submitted an application for confirmation from the local authorities and the hospital supported the surgery costs.
