Nguyen Tuan Anh won the title of 'best amateur golfer' at the Singha Bangkok Open 2025

TPO - Young golfer Nguyen Tuan Anh has made a strong impression on the international arena when he excellently won the Best Amateur title at the Singha Bangkok Open 2025, one of the prestigious tournaments in the All Thailand Golf Tour system.

In the final round, Tuan Anh showed impressive form and steadfastness, scoring 66 strokes (-4), a performance considered excellent in challenging course conditions.

Throughout the four days of competition, the 16-year-old golfer maintained excellent consistency, with two rounds of even par and two rounds of excellent negative scores. The 16-year-old golfer finished the tournament with a total score of (-10), after four rounds (70-64-70-66), ranking 27th overall.

This victory not only brought Tuan Anh the title of Best Amateur - the best amateur golfer of the tournament, but also affirmed the bravery, maturity and potential to reach international level of the reigning National Golf Champion.

Tuan Anh is in great form. Only half way through 2025, Nguyen Tuan Anh already has a huge list of achievements. The 16-year-old golfer won the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, was runner-up at the APGC Junior Championship, and was crowned Vietnam Junior Open champion with a margin of 10 strokes.

The highlight was the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon won first, where Tuan Anh surpassed the monument Truong Chi Quan in a match considered one of the most memorable matches in the history of the tournament.
