Despite many achievements, the Vietnamese flower export industry still faces difficulties related to copyright of varieties. This makes flower varieties not really diverse, limiting the ability to compete in the international market. However, businesses are making efforts to improve to meet the increasing demand from the markets.

Late last year, the Prime Minister encouraged cooperation with the Kunming International Flower Trade and Auction Center (KIFA), which has the largest flower trading volume in Asia and the second largest in the world .

Mr. Tao Vinh Can, representative of KIFA, expressed his confidence in Vietnam's potential for developing modern models thanks to favorable climate and natural conditions.

He expects the two sides to cooperate comprehensively from providing seeds, cultivation techniques, consumption to building an international flower auction floor in Vietnam. This is a strategic step, helping Vietnam not only increase exports but also aim to become a regional flower trading center.
