The 2025 Petroleum Department's political teaching competition had the participation of 26 outstanding candidates selected from the grassroots competition. Watching the competition, we were impressed by the practical political teaching competition of the candidates. With a warm voice, scientific communication methods, combined with vivid illustrative images, the lecture "Basic measures to improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization work in grassroots units in the Army today" by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba Hoan, Political Commissar of Warehouse 661 attracted the attention of the listeners. Talking to us, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba Hoan shared: "To attract and engage learners, along with carefully and elaborately preparing lectures, teachers must practice proficiently, master the content, use a combination of presentation methods, raise issues, combine presentation tools...".

At this year's contest, most of the contestants chose the appropriate scope and content, exploited and used information reasonably, analyzed and clarified the nature of the problem, connected and applied it closely to reality, and had good ideological orientation. The contestants all mastered the lecture, had clear content, broke away from the outline; were creative while lecturing, resolved the relationship between the content, transitioned ideas and connected relatively well and logically. During the presentation, the contestants basically paid attention and interacted with the audience, adjusted their methods and volume appropriately. Most of the contestants made the most of the allowed time to focus on highlighting the assigned content... Many lesson plans were carefully prepared, with good content and layout, and beautiful presentation. Along with compiling outlines in prose, the candidates also applied information technology to provide slideshows to supplement the lecture topics. The 2025 competition for political lecturers of the Petroleum Department was a great success. 100% of political lecturers participating in the competition achieved good and excellent scores, of which nearly 77% were excellent. Captain Pham Ngoc Thanh, Political Commissar of Warehouse A1, Warehouse 182 shared: "Through this competition, we learned many valuable experiences and lessons in preparing lectures, improving our skills and pedagogical ability in teaching politics...".

The organizing committee awarded certificates of merit to the first, second and third prize winners.

Assessing the overall results of the contest, Colonel Duong Ngoc Tuyen, Party Secretary, Deputy Director of the Petroleum Department affirmed: "The contestants have promoted a high sense of responsibility in self-study, research, actively reviewed, and determined to participate in the contest to achieve the best results. The practice of the contest contents: Multiple choice, preparing presentation lectures and giving political lectures achieved relatively good results. During the practice of teaching, 100% of the contestants knew how to combine the use of presentation tools, many comrades had good teaching methods and skills, closely related to the learners and the tasks of the agency and unit".

After the contest, in order to further improve the quality of political education for the team of political teachers, the Party Committee and the commander of the Petroleum Department require Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the regulations and instructions of superiors on political education work and political education plans at their level. Build political capacity for political cadres, improve comprehensive qualifications, meet requirements and tasks in the new situation. Regularly train and improve the qualifications and methods of political teaching for the team of cadres in general, the team of political cadres in particular, contributing to improving the quality of political education at their units.
