This number increased by about 30% compared to last season, showing the growing attraction of the taekwondo movement nationwide.
This is also the first club-level taekwondo tournament held after the merger of several provinces and cities, expanding the scope of participation and raising the scale. This year, many units participated for the first time such as Ninh Binh, Cao Bang , Dien Bien...
The tournament brings together 46 clubs nationwide, competing in 4 age groups for men and women: under 12, 12-14, 15-17 and over 17, competing in a total of more than 120 combat and martial arts events.
Many promising young faces are present such as Nguyen Ngoc Lan Phuong ( Hanoi , 2025 Asian U14 Gold Medalist), Le Quang Huy (Ho Chi Minh City, 2025 Asian U14 Silver Medalist), Le Phan Tuan Kiet (Gia Lai, preparing to attend the Asian Youth Games), or Pham Minh Bao Kha (Dong Thap, 2025 Southeast Asian Gold Medalist).
According to the Organizing Committee, athletes with outstanding achievements at the tournament will be selected to join the national youth team to prepare for international events in 2026, and at the same time become resources for the national team.
This annual tournament is not only a place to compete and affirm the professional capacity of the clubs but also reflects the strong and sustainable development of the Vietnamese taekwondo movement in the new context.
