Inspecting key projects invested by the Military Command of An Giang province

On the morning of September 10, inspection delegation No. 5, led by Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, inspected key projects and the disbursement of public investment capital for projects invested by the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command. Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, received and worked with the delegation.

The inspection team inspected the project to renovate, repair and upgrade the headquarters of the Military Command of An Giang province.

Inspection Team No. 5 came to survey the actual project of renovating, repairing and upgrading the headquarters building and the project of renovating, repairing and upgrading sewers, fences, duty house, reception house and technical infrastructure system of An Giang Provincial Military Command.

Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, informed about the disbursement of investment capital for projects.

The An Giang Provincial Military Command was allocated 525.7 billion VND in public investment capital for 2025 to invest in 14 projects. The Provincial Border Guard Command was allocated 26.227 billion VND in public investment capital for 2025. The two units are estimated to disburse 100% of the annual plan by December 31, 2025.

Through the working session, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy requested investors to be more determined and closely follow up, focusing on giving maximum priority to the task of disbursing public investment capital, ensuring that by the end of 2025, 100% of the public investment capital plan will be achieved in accordance with the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Investors should strengthen inspection, supervision, and urge contractors and design consultants to speed up progress, ensuring safety and quality of the project.

The Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command to review and report specifically on the project implementation process, difficulties and obstacles in carrying out land procedures and propose solutions, and send them to the Department of Agriculture and Environment for synthesis.

Based on the report of the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and relevant agencies, units and localities to guide the investor to complete the procedures and implement the next steps; in case of exceeding the authority, coordinate to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and handling according to regulations.
