Meeting with the Dong Nai Catholic delegation attending the National Catholic Emulation Congress

(DN) - On September 10, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Ha Anh Dung chaired a meeting with the Catholic delegation of Dong Nai province attending the 6th National Emulation Congress to commend "Good people, good deeds" among Catholics, period 2020-2025, held in Hanoi City.

Accordingly, from September 10 to 11, the Catholic delegation of Dong Nai province with 5 official delegates, including: Priest Tran Xuan Thao, Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province; Priest Nguyen Minh Chanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province; Priest Le Van Nang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province; Nun Bui Thi Hong Hanh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province and outstanding parishioner Dieu Truong, member of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province will participate in activities at the congress.

Priest Tran Xuan Thao said: Dong Nai is the locality with the largest Catholic population in the country with over 1.31 million people. In recent times, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province in particular and Dong Nai Catholics in general have received attention and support from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, thanks to which religious activities have taken place smoothly. The Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee of the province always supports and demonstrates responsibility when participating in and mobilizing followers to carry out patriotic emulation movements launched by the province. During the congress, the Catholic delegation of the province will fully and effectively participate in the activities of the congress.
