
The delegation directly surveyed and assessed the current status of 8 red mud storage tanks, 2 tailings storage tanks and areas related to natural disaster risk prevention. The delegation also inspected production and operation activities at Tan Rai Alumina Factory.
As of July 2025, the company has basically completed the 2025 PCTT plan. The volume of excavation and dredging of the drainage system has reached about 3,420m3 of various types of mud and soil.

The company has implemented disaster prevention and control work with a total value of more than 7.2 billion VND, equivalent to 148% of the 2024 plan due to storm incidents.
Reporting to the working delegation, the representative of Lam Dong Aluminum Company Limited - TKV said that the unit officially came into operation on October 1, 2010, taking over the operation of the Lam Dong Bauxite - Aluminum Complex Project invested and built by the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV).

The company is currently exploiting about 4.3 million tons of raw bauxite ore/year. The output of refined ore after selection is about 1.77 million tons/year. The alumina plant has a designed capacity of 650,000 tons/year.
This inspection aims to comprehensively evaluate measures to ensure reservoir safety, respond to natural disasters and production activities at one of the key national projects. Thereby, ensuring economic development without sacrificing environmental safety.

Revenue in the first 6 months of the year of Lam Dong Aluminum Company Limited - TKV reached 1,985 billion VND, equal to 57.7% of the yearly plan. In particular, the company continues to ensure high income for employees, with an average salary of about 20.5 million VND/person/month.
