Speaking after a meeting with the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) leadership on July 18, Prime Minister Srettha stressed that the office and relevant agencies must proactively support the root cause of drug traffickers by quickly tracing their assets.

According to the Thai Prime Minister, a large amount of drugs are still being brought into the country, AMLO needs to actively and urgently prevent money laundering and find ways to confiscate assets obtained from drug trafficking.

In particular, it is necessary to quickly confiscate the assets of the "big fish" who provide financial resources for the entire drug trafficking network, thereby gradually destroying the drug distribution and trafficking system.

In addition, Prime Minister Srettha also asked AMLO to proactively coordinate with other agencies, such as the Royal Thai Police (RTP), to expand the investigation and improve the effectiveness of handling the case.
