The team of doctors, dentists, and volunteers of PVF examined and treated teeth for students from kindergarten to secondary school, gave toothpaste and toothbrushes; provided vision screening and glasses for students and the elderly; performed electrocardiograms and ultrasounds... At the same time, 50 scholarships and gifts were given to students and families in difficult circumstances; each scholarship was worth 1 million VND.

According to the plan, from September 8 to 11, the program will be held in 4 communes: Thoi An Hoi, Dai Hai, Ke Sach, Nhon My. There, doctors will check health, measure eyesight, examine and advise on treatment methods; give free glasses and medicine... to about 400 people and students.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, President of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Can Tho City emphasized: This is a meaningful activity, contributing to sharing and accompanying families and local authorities in the work of taking care of the health of students, people with disabilities, and people in difficult circumstances. Through the program, it aims to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship between the people of Can Tho City and people of other countries, overseas Vietnamese towards building their homeland.
