Opening of the 2025 National U17 Finals

On the afternoon of September 15, the opening ceremony of the final round of the National U17 Championship - Thai Son Nam Cup 2025 took place at Ba Ria Stadium (HCMC).

This year's National U17 Finals are held in Ho Chi Minh City.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Pham Anh Dung - Member of the VFF Referee Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau - Deputy General Secretary of the VFF, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee, and representative of the sponsor Thai Son Nam, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - General Director of Thai Son Nam Trading Company Limited.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thinh - Head of Ho Chi Minh City Football Club and representatives of some local press agencies.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau spoke at the opening ceremony, thanking the support of authorities at all levels and the media, and wishing the teams and individuals participating in the tournament to complete their tasks well.

He emphasized that the tournament is a playground to affirm the quality of youth training centers, and an opportunity for talents to accumulate experience and develop, aiming for national teams in the future.

This year's tournament brings together 12 excellent teams, including names such as PVF - CAND, Song Lam Nghe An, Hanoi , HAGL, Ho Chi Minh City and the host Ho Chi Minh City Football Club. The teams promise to give the audience emotional matches.

On the opening day, the championship candidates PVF - CAND, Song Lam Nghe An and Hanoi all won. After the opening ceremony, the match between Ho Chi Minh City Football Club and SHB Da Nang took place at 4pm at Ba Ria Stadium, while Nam Dinh met Hanoi Police at Tan Hung Stadium.
