Opening of the GD&TĐ Newspaper Cup Pickleball Tournament "Welcoming the Back to School Season" 2025

On the morning of August 23, at Binh Nguyen Pickleball Court Complex (Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh), the Representative Office of Education and Times Newspaper in the North Central region held the Opening Ceremony of the GD&TĐ Newspaper Cup Pickleball Tournament "Welcoming the Back to School Season" 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Ny Huong, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Le Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh ; representatives of departments and schools in the area, along with hundreds of parents and athletes.

On the sponsor side, there were Ms. Vo Tuyet Mai, Deputy Director of Mai Hung Group; Mr. Dau Duc Quy, Director of Dau Gia Vietnam Company; Mr. Duong Duc Tuan, Director of Tia Sang Height Development Company; Ms. Dau Thi Hai Trang, Deputy Director of AMA Ha Tinh English Center and many other partners of the tournament.

In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the tournament is considered a practical sports activity, creating a useful playground for students, contributing to improving health, spreading the spirit of solidarity and bringing Pickleball closer to school-age children.

A vibrant lion dance performance opened the opening ceremony.

This year’s tournament gathered nearly 140 athletes from many schools in Ha Tinh province, competing in 3 events. The event attracted the attention and participation of provincial leaders, departments, branches, local authorities, many parents and representatives of many businesses and sponsoring units.

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee performed solemn rituals: saluting the flag, declaring the reason, introducing the delegates, and giving the opening speech. Representatives of the athletes and referees read the promise and took the oath, demonstrating the spirit of honest, determined, and fair competition.

Many parents came to the stadium to cheer for the athletes.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee also presented thank you letters and symbols of gratitude to the sponsors who contributed to the success of the tournament, including valuable gifts and practical scholarships for the athletes.
