Kdang strives to become a dynamic commune of Gia Lai province

(GLO)- Over 2 days (August 10 and 11), the Party Committee of Kdang commune (Gia Lai province) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 150 delegates representing over 600 Party members from 33 affiliated Party organizations.

Kdang commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Trang, Hnol and Kdang communes (old). During the past term, the 3 communes have achieved many important results in all fields; people's lives have been constantly improved; political security and social order and safety have been maintained.

With the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Action-Development", the Congress unanimously voted to pass 19 important targets for the 2025-2030 term.

In particular, strive for an average economic growth rate of 7.1%/year; annual public investment disbursement rate of 95%; retail sales of goods and services of 2,712 billion VND; attract 5 new projects; annual military enlistment and militia force building rate of 100%...

To complete the set goals, the Congress identified 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, especially focusing on innovating the Party's leadership methods; improving the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength; continuing administrative reform associated with digital transformation, working with the whole country to successfully implement the 2-level local government model, striving to build Kdang into a dynamic commune of the province.

Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Dang Vinh Son suggested: Entering the new term, the Kdang Commune Party Committee continues to strengthen the work of Party building and rectification associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; focusing on economic restructuring, developing high-tech agriculture ; promoting administrative reform, building digital government, improving the efficiency of the political system...

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee and Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Kdang Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Party Executive Committee of the commune consists of 27 comrades. Comrade Le Thi Hue was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Kdang commune for the 2025-2030 term.
