Coach Kim Sang-sik was happy when U23 Vietnam played in the fiery atmosphere of Viet Tri Stadium, when there were many fans coming to cheer and motivate the whole team. This was part of the reason why the players kept trying and then scored the decisive goal.

"Today we missed many opportunities before scoring in the 79th minute. The opposing team's goalkeeper played very well, but my players also need to improve their finishing skills to be able to take full advantage of situations to finish off the opponent," the Korean strategist shared.

Regarding the final match against U23 Yemen, he affirmed: "We will analyze and research carefully before building a specific plan to achieve the best results. However, with what has been shown, I completely believe in a victory to end the qualifying round with the top spot and maximum points."

Coach Kim Sang-sik admitted that Yemen U23 has very good physique, especially the players in the defense. "However, we also have fast, fast wingers who exploit the space well in their defense. We will also look for other weaknesses of Yemen U23 to have a suitable approach."
