According to the announcement of the City People's Committee, agencies, units, hospitals, schools and people of the capital are requested to hang the national flag from August 18 to September 3. According to the Hanoi People's Committee, this is an activity with profound political and cultural significance, contributing to beautifying the urban appearance and reminding today's generations of the heroic tradition of the nation.

The People's Committees of wards and communes are responsible for directing, inspecting and reminding the hanging of the national flag in residential areas. Heads of agencies and units are responsible for implementing and supervising the implementation within their management scope, ensuring compliance with regulations, solemnity and uniformity.

These days, many central streets of Hanoi such as Trang Tien, Le Duan, Phan Dinh Phung... have been decorated with colorful flags, billboards, and propaganda posters. The simultaneous hanging of the national flag not only shows national pride but also creates an exciting, sacred atmosphere, towards the country's important anniversary.
