With a low starting point, while the commune has more than 90% of households engaged in agricultural economy, the rate of ethnic minority households and poor households is high, so reaching the NTM target in 2024 faces many difficulties. However, with the attention to investing more than 200 billion VND, the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, up to now, Dang Ha commune has completed 19/19 NTM criteria.
Dang Ha has 97km of roads, most of which are now paved with cement concrete and asphalt, spacious and clean. In particular, the commune has received investment from the district People's Committee in cement concrete and asphalt for 6 main inter-village and inter-commune routes, 17.5km long, with a total cost of nearly 50 billion VND. Along with that, many bridges and culverts have been invested in construction, creating favorable conditions for traffic and socio -economic development. The commune has 3 public schools, of which 2 are under the management of the Bu Dang district People's Committee. Through many stages of investment and construction, all schools have now been completed to meet standards.
From a place with underdeveloped trade and service activities, Dang Ha has now established more than 80 stores, trading services and attracted 30 enterprises to invest in production development. Thereby, it has created jobs for thousands of workers, increased income for people and effectively reduced poverty. Up to now, the average income has reached about 70 million VND/person/year and there are only 2 poor households and 1 near-poor household. This is the result of investing in building new rural areas in this remote area.
The Party Committee, government and people of Dang Ha commune received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Duong Van Hieu awarded the certificate of recognition of meeting the new rural standards in 2024 to Dang Ha commune.
On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement were commended and rewarded by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bu Dang district and Dang Ha commune.
