Agribank Party Committee participates in National Conference on training on artificial intelligence application

(Dan Tri) - The conference took place in two phases, the first phase was held on September 9-10 and the second phase was held on September 11-12. Agribank Party Committee participated in the conference via online connection with the bridge organized by the Central Party Office.

At the bridge point of the Agribank Party Committee, there were Mr. To Huy Vu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members; Mr. Tran Van Thinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Members, General Director; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Members of the Party Executive Committee; members of the Board of Members and the Executive Board, along with leaders, officers and employees in the entire Agribank system.

The conference aims to raise awareness of the role, potential and orientation of AI application in innovation, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the work of cadres, civil servants and public employees at Party committees and agencies; equip learners with basic knowledge and skills in using some popular AI tools to support tasks such as: consulting, synthesizing information, analyzing documents, preparing drafts and proposing solutions to serve the work.

At the same time, the conference contributes to forming the right attitude and responsibility in using AI safely and securely, in accordance with political and legal orientations in the context of digital transformation.

Identifying AI application as one of the important solutions and breakthroughs to modernize leadership, management and banking operations, the conference is a great opportunity to help concretize and raise awareness of Agribank officials, party members and employees about science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Agribank Party Committee organized 178 online bridges across the system, with the participation of more than 40,000 cadres and employees from branches and units, divided into two phases, phase 1 from 8:00 a.m. on September 9 to 5:00 p.m. on September 10, phase 2 from 8:00 a.m. on September 11 to 5:00 p.m. on September 12. The conference took place seriously and responsibly, demonstrating the high determination of Agribank cadres, Party members and employees in grasping new knowledge, ready to apply AI to Party work and professional activities.

At the conference, Agribank officials, party members, and employees listened to senior lecturers and main lecturers from the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi share the following topics: Overview and role of AI in party work (basic concepts, development trends, scenarios for applying AI to research, consulting, synthesizing, and analyzing documents); learn about popular AI tools today (ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, Canva AI).

Along with that, learners also practice with ChatGPT in supporting work (research, consulting, synthesizing; analyzing documents from multiple sources; building reports, plans). Learners are also guided on the principles of use; ethical, legal, and security issues when using AI; discussing situations of security violations, information distortion, etc.

Science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation have become important factors that determine the rapid and sustainable development of the country in general, the banking system and Agribank in particular.

To specify the policies and Resolution No. 57 of the Central Committee, Agribank issued Plan No. 77 dated February 28, defining specific tasks for Party committees, Party organizations, member councils, executive boards, Trade Unions, Youth Unions, units and branches in the entire system to develop action plans, organize implementation, inspect, supervise and evaluate the implementation of Resolution No. 57 and other relevant documents of the Government, State Bank and Agribank.

The plan also realizes the goal of making science, technology, innovation and digital transformation the top important breakthroughs in all fields and activities of Agribank in the era of the country's breakthrough development and prosperity; maintaining the leading role in the agricultural and rural financial market, together with corporations and general companies, leading the socialist-oriented market economy, creating momentum and strength to bring the country into a new era.
