From all over the road, people flock to the place known as "the most beautiful terraced fields paradise in the Northwest", to admire the rare scene created by nature and human hands.
Standing from Ngai Thau slope or Choan Then village looking down, the rice fields follow each other down the mountain slopes, softly curving like spreading golden waves.
The morning mist covered everything, the sunlight shining through created a scene that was both majestic and dreamy.
This is also the moment that makes many tourists not hesitate to travel long distances, just to witness it with their own eyes.
Not only attractive by the scenery, Y Ty also attracts tourists by the sincerity of the local people. Having just taken a break from her work in the fields, Ms. Ly Thi Po, a local, excitedly said: “This year the rice harvest is good, the grains are firm and ripe. Seeing many visitors come to take pictures, we are also happy, because that is the way for Y Ty to be known by more people.”
Compared to previous years, the road to Y Ty is now more convenient, cars can reach the commune center, tourists have less trouble. Homestays are also invested in, meeting the needs of resting and enjoying local cuisine . Thanks to that, the golden season of Y Ty has become an unmissable meeting place for young people who love to travel and explore.
According to experienced people, the period from late August to mid-September is the best time to admire Y Ty in its golden season.
Just a few weeks later, the harvest will begin, and the golden yellow color will quickly give way to brown fields. That is why many tourists visit early so as not to miss the “golden moment” of the year.
