On September 9, LPBank Securities Company (LPBS), FPT and VPF signed a sponsorship agreement for the National Cup football tournament - LPBank Securities 2025/26.
According to the announcement, the 2025/26 National Cup is expected to start from September 12, 2025 to June 28, 2026, with the participation of 25 professional clubs nationwide, including 14 National Championship clubs and 11 National First Division clubs.
They are Becamex Ho Chi Minh City Club, CAHN, CA Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, HAGL, Hanoi FC, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, PVF-CAND, SHB Da Nang, SLNA, Thep Xanh Nam Dinh , The Cong Viettel, Bac Ninh, Van Hien University, Dong Thap, Gia Dinh, Khatoco Khanh Hoa, Long An, Ho Chi Minh City, Tre Ho Chi Minh City (expected to be renamed Thanh Nien Ho Chi Minh City), Dong Nai, Quang Ninh and Quy Nhon United. The club that won the National Cup received a prize worth 2 billion VND.
