In recent times, the Provincial Police Women's Union and Commune Police have actively cared for, nurtured and supported adopted children who are orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic and other causes, and children in difficult circumstances. Notably, the effective activities of the "Godmother" program, the "Wings of Love" model, and the "Lottery of Charity" project in the provincial police force have been highlighted. Thereby, creating a source of funding to care for and nurture children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and families in difficult circumstances.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day June 28, to continue to motivate orphaned children and children in difficult circumstances to strive and improve their lives and studies, Bac Lieu Provincial Police awarded 10 scholarships "Sowing seeds of knowledge - Lighting up the future" to children who are sponsored by the Provincial Police Women's Union at all levels and adopted children of the Commune Police.
At the same time, the organization honored and awarded 49 gifts to children of officers and soldiers who have made efforts and achieved excellent results in the 2024-2025 school year. The total value of the gifts is 57 million VND.
Children are excited to participate in the "Summer Market for Children" activity, choosing their favorite items.
As part of the second series of activities of the program "My Summer" in 2025, the Provincial Police organized the award ceremony of the Writing - Drawing contest "Proud of my father and mother as People's Police soldiers", launched in February 2025 in Bac Lieu Provincial Police.
Over the time of launching, the contest has attracted hundreds of entries from children of officers and soldiers in the entire force. Among them, many entries were elaborately constructed, unique and full of creativity, demonstrating the artistic talent as well as the children's deep understanding of the sacrifices and dedication of their fathers and mothers - the Bac Lieu Police officers who are working day and night to protect a peaceful and happy life for the people.
The Organizing Committee selected and awarded 11 high-quality written works and 17 drawings. In addition, many exciting and meaningful activities were organized, such as: Organizing children to visit and offer incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in the premises of the Provincial Police Headquarters; propagating and disseminating basic regulations on traffic safety and order, equipping children with skills to participate in traffic safety; participating in the "Summer Market for Children" activity...
More than 100 children of cadres, soldiers, children sponsored by Women's Unions at all levels and adopted children of commune police officers enjoyed exciting and meaningful summer activities on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day, June 28.
Through the series of activities "My Summer" to create a useful and healthy playground, contributing to encouraging the spirit of children to continue to strive, practice to become good children, good students, good children of Uncle Ho.
