Big move from digital transformation orientation in education

GD&TĐ - Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo has created a comprehensive orientation, spreading the spirit of digital education deeply.

Driving force from comprehensive digital transformation orientation

Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development sets out the direction for comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training.

This orientation has been welcomed and implemented synchronously by the Thai Nguyen education sector, bringing about positive movements, opening up expectations for new developments in the quality of local education.

Thai Nguyen education sector aims to complete online teaching platform and digital learning materials warehouse by 2025; 100% of schools will have standard digital infrastructure by 2026; reach level 3 in digital transformation assessment by 2027; and vision to 2030 for comprehensive digital education.

Motivated by Resolution 71, the Thai Nguyen education sector determined that digital transformation in education is not only about applying digital technology but more importantly, changing thinking, innovating methods, and improving digital capacity from each teacher, student and the entire education management system.

“Digital transformation is not only a trend, but also an inevitable need, a key driving force to improve the quality and effectiveness of education. Digital transformation in education is not only the application of digital technology but more importantly, it is changing thinking, innovating methods, improving digital capacity of each teacher, student and the entire education management system,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Nguyen.

From this awareness, the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in teaching in educational institutions in the area has been widely deployed. In many schools, teachers proactively integrate information technology, use presentation software, combine simulation software, virtual experiments, and AI, which has helped improve teaching efficiency.

Connected education activities are actively implemented to create a learning environment that connects learners and teachers between schools inside and outside the area through an online system, helping to promote cooperation between schools to share, exchange and improve the quality of education.

Spreading the spirit of digital education

At Thanh Ninh Primary School (Kha Son Commune, Thai Nguyen Province), thanks to being fully equipped with a system of computers connected to the Internet, televisions, and projectors for classrooms and functional rooms, the implementation of digital report cards, electronic lesson plans, AI applications, and the use of OLM in teaching is quite convenient, and teachers are always ready to participate.

Ms. Vu Thi Phuong, Principal of the School, shared: “The orientation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW is very important, deeply affecting the awareness of school staff and teachers in digital transformation, helping to make the spirit and determination to keep up with technology more positive”.

At Tuc Tranh High School (Thai Nguyen province), the school identifies digital infrastructure as the foundation of all digital transformation activities, focusing on prioritizing investment in additional technology equipment; the digital library is put into operation to help teachers and students access learning materials, exam questions, lesson plans, and lecture videos anytime, anywhere; many teachers proactively learn AI, share knowledge with colleagues, participate in specialized training courses, and gradually incorporate technology into daily lectures.

Teacher Dao Thi Thuan, a Literature teacher, shared: “Implementing the orientation of promoting digital transformation, innovating methods, and improving the quality of comprehensive education according to Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, we are more aware of our responsibility: innovation is not only a requirement of the times but also the personal aspiration of each teacher, to reach a substantial, humane and modern education”.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Principal of Tuc Tranh High School emphasized: From the orientation of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, teachers and students are being inspired and have a positive and effective working and learning atmosphere, creating a great movement in the whole school.
