Within the framework of the National Achievement Exhibition, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduced a special visual art work: the 3D Mapping Wall “Vietnam, Country and People”. With a record length of up to 150m and a height of 12m, the work is being proposed to be registered as a Vietnamese Record.
The 3D Mapping wall attracts the attention of a large number of people to visit and experience.
The unique feature of this wall lies in the harmonious combination of architecture, art and modern technology. Applying advanced 3D Mapping projection technology, the entire wall space becomes a giant backdrop for vivid images of nature, culture and people of Vietnam. Thanks to the synchronized lighting and sound effects, the audience feels like they are embarking on a spectacular visual journey, "walking along" the length of national history from the founding of the country to today.
In each frame, viewers can admire the magical image of Ha Long, the golden rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai, the quiet Cham towers of My Son, the ancient Thang Long Imperial Citadel or the majestic Hue royal court music. In particular, the intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO such as Bac Ninh Quan Ho, Ca Tru, Xoan singing, Southern amateur music... are attractively recreated through the combination of artistic images and typical music . Each film is a slice of culture, contributing to sketching a picture of Vietnam that is colorful but unified in identity.
Not only bringing heritage closer to the public, the 3D Mapping wall also cleverly incorporates important historical milestones of the nation. From the heroic spirit of Bach Dang, Chi Lang to the spirit of Dien Bien Phu, from the heroic days of the nation in the 20th century to the transformation of the renovation period, all are vividly recreated through the language of light. That makes many audiences, especially the younger generation, emotional and proud when witnessing the flow of history appearing right before their eyes.
Most opinions say that this is a breakthrough creation, both artistic and applying modern technology to convey traditional values.
According to records, during the exhibition, the project welcomed millions of visitors. Most opinions said that this was a breakthrough creation, both artistic and applying modern technology to convey traditional values. Many international visitors also expressed strong impressions, saying that the project was a vivid way to promote the country and people of Vietnam, giving them more motivation to directly explore the destinations.
The application of 3D Mapping technology in the exhibition not only brings a new experience to the audience, but also contributes to modernizing the method of promoting culture. Through that, it also affirms the enduring vitality of national identity in the flow of international integration.
This is a testament to how technology can be a powerful tool for telling cultural stories. When tradition is presented in a modern visual space, it creates a great appeal to the public, especially the younger generation who are accustomed to digital technology.
The event proposed to set a Vietnamese record for the 3D Mapping wall “Vietnam, Country, People” not only affirms the grand scale of the project, but also contributes to promoting the national image in the international arena. With the influence of this exhibition, the wall promises to become a cultural and artistic highlight in upcoming major activities, as well as opening a new direction in preserving and promoting the value of national heritage with modern technology.
