Implementing the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense on merging and handing over agencies and units under the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command to the Hai Phong City Military Command, at the Conference, Colonel Pham Hong Thuat - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Hai Phong City Military Command announced the handover minutes, including the main contents on: organization, staffing and military numbers; facilities; system of documents and materials; personnel work; technical logistics and finance.
Speaking at the Conference, Major General To Thanh Quyet, Deputy Commander of the Military Region, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Hai Phong City Military Command and the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command before the handover and merger. He praised the urgent, responsible, serious and effective working spirit of the officers and employees of the two units throughout the preparation and implementation of the tasks. The Deputy Commander of the Military Region requested that, immediately after completing the handover and merger, the Hai Phong City Military Command needs to quickly stabilize the organization, perfect the staff, grasp the requirements of the new tasks; perform well the management of defense land and defense works; closely coordinate with the forces to maintain security and safety in the stationed area.
In addition, it is necessary to focus on perfecting the combat readiness document system, strictly maintaining combat readiness regimes, and ensuring training quality for the subjects. He also reminded the unit to pay attention to building a team of cadres and employees, promptly grasping and satisfactorily resolving the thoughts, aspirations and policies of the troops, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
