Bac Ninh: Training on exploiting and applying artificial intelligence for officials and civil servants

DNVN - On September 13, the Department of Science and Technology of Bac Ninh province organized a training course on exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) applications for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of departments and agencies under the People's Committees at the commune level.

In fact, in recent times, the application of AI tools in management, operation and handling of administrative procedures has helped optimize work processes, providing the ability to look up information quickly and accurately; supporting the synthesis of documents, reports, and work reminders; faster processing of feedback and recommendations, contributing to improving the satisfaction level of people and businesses.

Representatives of office leaders, specialized/part-time staff in charge of information technology and digital transformation at departments; leaders of People's Committees, heads and deputy heads of departments, units and relevant officers, civil servants and public employees of People's Committees of communes and wards directly discussed questions about the application of AI in the activities of their units.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Gia Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that AI is a popular tool in solving professional tasks today, and is widely popular around the world . However, in the online environment, there are many AI tools with different features, making it difficult for users to choose and use AI effectively. Therefore, the training course aims to disseminate and guide the most basic information to effectively exploit AI in leadership, direction and reporting; improve digital capacity, master AI tools of each cadre, civil servant and public employee on the basis of compliance with legal regulations and ensuring information security.

In the context of Bac Ninh province focusing on operating a two-level local government with a large amount of work after the merger, the Department of Science and Technology is urgently developing a project to deploy two AI tools to serve the settlement of administrative procedures and management and operation work.

The completion of this project demonstrates the locality's proactive and creative spirit in administrative reform, building a digital government to serve the people, contributing to achieving the province's goals in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
