Bac Giang enforces tax debt of over 540 million VND on a business

On November 15, the Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department announced that it had just issued a decision to enforce tax collection on a business with overdue tax debt.

The Tan Yen - Yen The Regional Tax Department (Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department) has decided to enforce by withdrawing money from the account/requesting account freezing for Thinh Vuong Construction Development Joint Stock Company (Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province).

The reason for the enforcement is that the taxpayer has tax arrears that are over 90 days past the prescribed deadline; the taxpayer has expired the prescribed tax payment extension. The amount of money subject to enforcement is over 540 million VND.

In this decision, the Tan Yen - Yen The Regional Tax Department (Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department) also requested the bank to withdraw money from the account/freeze the account for the above amount. See more...

Vietnam stock market will be an attractive investment destination

The Chairman of the State Securities Commission said that with the determination to upgrade the market, the Vietnamese stock market will be an attractive investment and business destination for domestic and foreign enterprises and investors.

On the morning of November 14, 2023 (local time), the Financial Investment Promotion Conference took place in Los Angeles (USA). The conference attracted the participation of more than 60 major financial institutions and representatives of investment funds in the United States.

Speaking at the event, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc said that in recent years, despite the challenges and difficulties of the global economy, Vietnam has emerged as a country with prospects for solid and stable economic growth and controlled inflation.

According to the Minister, Vietnam's GDP growth in 2023 is estimated to reach over 5%, and is expected to grow by about 6 - 6.5% in 2024. Macroeconomic balances are increasingly sustainable. Export growth through diversification of partners and industries; attracting FDI through favorable policy mechanisms for investors; low public debt, and abundant fiscal space are fundamental advantages for Vietnam to maintain its long-term growth prospects. Old Quarter real estate is being sold by banks at 303 million VND/m2

The house located at 110, Hang Buom Old Quarter, Hang Buom Ward (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) is being auctioned by Agribank with a starting price of 30.6 billion VND.

Agribank has just announced the auction of collateral assets including land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to the land located at 110 Hang Buom, Hang Buom Ward, Hoan Kiem District.

Specifically, the land plot has an area of 100.8m2 with a private use form, the purpose is urban residential land. The house on the land has a floor area of 205.2m2. This is the collateral for the loan of AJMAL Vietnam Company Limited at Agribank Ha Thanh branch.

The starting price for the above property is 30.6 billion VND (excluding VAT), equivalent to about 303 million VND/m2.

It is known that this property has been put up for sale by Agribank many times before. In August 2022, the starting price of this property was 60.5 billion VND, equivalent to 605 million VND/m2. See more...
